Rapid Protoype of the Game
This was our 3rd project in ETC for the BVW course. This round was pretty challenging as we had to develop this within 1 week of time, called the lightning round. In this round we worked on a very unique platform called Jam-o-drum, a table with 4 controllers and the game is projected from the top.
We decided to go with a pixel art style as we wanted to experiment this style which was not done before by any team at that time. Our virtual world was enhanced as soon as we added character sounds which gave it the fun element to play with.
Almost every day we had some of our other classmates test it with any new update and their feedback highly improved our game.
It being a 4 player multiplayer game, increased the excitement of players while playing trying to compete with each other.
This was one of my favourite virtual worlds in the entire course.
